It is HOT here

It's been hot here most every day, with the occassional day of rain... welcome rain as it drops the temperature down 30 degrees Fahrenheit. But, on June 30th, I believe the hottest day on record (at least on my computer) - anywhere on Earth - happened right here in Colorado. No, not the Mohave Desert or the Sahara Desert or the places where you would think it should be hot. But - in Colorado - ski country.


I'm doubtful a little rain shower bringing the temperature down 30 degrees would help much. I think I'd like an iced tea now, perhaps with a large air conditioning unit attached.
